Dr.-Ing. Birgit Schotsch - Dr. Wilhelmy-VDE-Preis 2015
As part of the VDE-Hauptstadt Forum "Trends in communications technology: Acoustic" in the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences in Berlin, Dr.-Ing. Birgit Schotsch was awarded with the Dr. Wilhelmy VDE Prize for her dissertation "Rateless Coding in the Finite Length Regime " on November 4th, 2015.
The award is dedicated to female engineers of electrical engineering and information technology with an outstanding dissertation, which shows a high impact for science and electrical engineering in Germany. In 2015 the Dr. Wilhelmy VDE Prize is awarded for the first time.
