Pupils visits @IKS
In Januaryr, the Institute of Communication Systems organized two events for pupils.
The "Beratungstag", organized by the RWTH, is intended to support the students in their future career choice by presenting the different subjects of study. As part of this event, our institute offered a sample lecture on "Speech in Bits and Bytes" to provide insights into the field of electrical engineering and information technology at the RWTH.
In addition, we invited students from two schools to the institute as part of a student lab to give them first impressions on the professional world. The students passed our usual program, including a lecture, various demonstrations, some auditory experiments on PCs as well as the visit of our IKS|Lab, where we placed the students virtually in the middle of the Aachen Symphony Orchestra.
