IKS @ ICASSP 2026

The 51st IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP) took place this year from May 4 to May 8 in Barcelona.

ICASSP is considered the world’s largest and most comprehensive conference in the field of digital signal processing and its applications, bringing together leading researchers from academia and industry every year.

Our institute was also represented on site this year: two research staff members traveled to Barcelona to present their latest research results and to engage with the international scientific community.

Egke Chatzimoustafa showcased his research on Frequency-Independent Ambisonics Upscaling using Deep Learning. Till Hardenbicker presented his contribution Maximum Likelihood Measurement Noise Estimation for Block-Time Domain Kalman Filters. Both presentations attracted interest and provided a valuable opportunity to discuss current developments in their respective research areas.

Further information about the conference can be found on the ICASSP 2026.
