Pupils at IKS
As in the years before, the IKS supported the activities of the "Schüleruni" so that pupils of different grades could gain insights into the work at the institute.
A lecture entitled "Speech in Bits and Bytes", computer exercises, experiments and demonstrations gave a first insight into the field of digital speech processing. The 3D virtual band, quantization, reverberation and sound design built among others the program. Moreover, the participants experienced the new "IKS|Lab" with its 36 loudspeakers. An accompanying quiz served as an incentive to deal intensively with the diverse topics.
