Colloquium “Communication Technology”
The colloquium “Communication Technology” took place on June 19, 2026, and, due to the upcoming relocation to CUBE3, was held for the last time in the IKS premises. The contributions by the speakers once again provided a diverse and engaging program.
In addition to the annual review, staff members presented ongoing research activities in the field of communications engineering at the institute, continuing a well-established tradition. The complete program can be accessed via this link.
A special highlight of the event was a historical retrospective on the IKS, tracing the institute’s development through the history and transformation of its premises. In her presentation, Dr. Christiane Antweiler highlighted key milestones, projects, and changes that have shaped the institute over the past decades.
The traditional summer celebration concluded the event, providing an opportunity to revisit and share “memories of the building” in a relaxed atmosphere.
