Award für Cand.-Ing. Christian Rohlfing
Herr Cand.-Ing. Christian Rohlfing hat im Rahmen seiner Diplomarbeit bei der 16th International Student Conference on Electrical Engineering in Prag (POSTER 2012) die Auszeichnung "Best Poster"; in der Kategory "Communications" für seinen Beitrag mit dem Titel "Logarithmic Cubic Vector Quantization" erhalten.
The authors from the IND Institute of RWTH Aachen University (Marco Jeub, Christian Herglotz, Christoph Nelke and Peter Vary) and from Intel Mobile Communications (Christophe Beaugeant) received the NEC best paper award of the IEEE International Conference on Acoustics Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), held in Kyoto, Japan, March 25-30, 2012.
Die Preisverleihung fand im Forschungszentrum caesar in Bonn statt.
E-Plus-Preis für Dr.-Ing. Laurent Schmalen
Jährlich wird von dem Mobilfunkanbieter E-Plus ein Preis für die beste Dissertation im Bereich Nachrichtentechnik an der RWTH verliehen.
