IKS @ IWAENC 2022
The 17th International Workshop on Acoustic Signal Enhancement took place in Bamberg this year. All participants of the workshop were pleased that this event could take place again in presence after a 4-year break.
Preceded by Satellite Workshop on "Signal Processing and Machine Learning for Spatially Distributed Microphones", the IWAENC was held from 5-8/9/2022. Besides the classical presentation and poster sessions, with IWAENC's traditional mission of linking theory to real-world applications, the sessions for nine demonstrations plaid a central role.
The IKS was involved with a total of three contributions:
- Christoph Weyer presented his paper "Occlusion Effect Reduction Using a Vibration Sensor" as a candidate for the IWAENC 2022 Best Paper Award in a special lecture session,
- Lars Thieling showed his poster "Two-Stage Speech Enhancement Using Gated Convolutions" and,
- Florian Hilgemann his poster titled "Robust Feedback Active Noise Control in Headphones Based on a Data-Driven Uncertainty Model".
More information about the conference can be fount at IWAENC 2022.
