IENT/IKS Workshop
The IKS and the IENT (Institute of Communications Engineering) organized a joint workshop in Lecture Hall 4G to foster scientific exchange between the two institutes.
The program featured concise expert presentations that highlighted the diverse research topics of both institutions. The event also provided an opportunity to meet the new institute director, Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Alexander Raake, along with several research staff who had recently joined from TU Ilmenau. Discussions revealed promising avenues for future collaboration, particularly considering IENT’s newly established research focus on the “subjective evaluation of audiovisual scenes”.
The workshop concluded with a relaxed informal session, including a joint barbecue and continued scientific dialogue.
