At the end of October, the joint anniversary exhibition of RWTH Aachen University and the City of Aachen was opened at the Centre Charlemagne. In a ceremony, the "red ribbon" was cut by the Rector of RWTH, Prof. Ulrich Rüdiger, and Mayor Sibylle Keupen of the City of Aachen.
This exhibition, held on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of RWTH Aachen, shows selected exhibits from RWTH, many of which are already used in everyday life of show what is technically possible. In cooperation with the IENT, the IKS has created the exhibit "Communication Technology". In addition to various exhibits highlighting the development of communication technology on a timeline, two videos on video coding and various audio formats, respectively, were created to make the work more vivid, see also here.
