Visit of the ITG Fachtagung Speech Communication

With a team of 10 assistants/students the IND attended the 11^th ITG Conference on Speech Communication in Erlangen on September 24^th-26^th.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Vary opened the event with the key talk "Back to the Future of Digital Speech Communications". In his presentation he also made use of a mobile phone of the 1st generation, the Motorola International 3200. With three lectures, four posters and demonstrations we reported on our current work.

In addition to the interesting conference program a "magic" evening in the DB Museum in Nuremberg was organized.
