CUBE3 | First Insights
Together with the Institute of Hearing Technology and Acoustics (IHTA), we recently had the opportunity to take a first look inside the emerging CUBE3.
The new building will in the future be home to the Institute for Communication Systems (IKS), the IHTA, and the Institute of Electromagnetic Theory (ITHE).
At this stage, only the lower two floors were accessible. These include the new lecture halls, acoustic measurement rooms, and workshops. Together with acoustic consultant Dr. Andreas Meier, detailed questions regarding the large measurement rooms were discussed.
Beyond these technical topics, the visit also offered an exciting glimpse into the future teaching spaces and the modern infrastructure that will be available to the institutes once construction is complete.
