Successful patent application for the active cancellation of the occlusion effect

German Patent "Aktive Unterdrückung des Okklusionseffektes in Hörhilfen" (DE102016011719B3) accepted in under a year.

In the context of research activities in the area of Active Noise Cancellation, the IKS filed a patent in the last year. Its focus is a methodology for individually designing a feedback controller for cancelling the occlusion effect. The proposal was accepted within less than one year of processing time. The inventors were Stefan Liebich, Carlotta Anemüller and Daniel Rüschen.
