RWTH Uni-Cup
In the packed Tivoli arena, the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Medicine met again this year to compete in the traditional Uni-Cup ice hockey tournament.
As always, the matches delivered intensity, speed, and plenty of action both on and off the ice. Several thousand spectators once again turned the 100.5 Arena into a lively backdrop, underscoring why the Uni Cup has long since achieved cult status. Representing Electrical Engineering, Prof. Jax took to the ice once more with the ET Lions on the professors’ team. We take the sporting result in good spirits—and let’s be honest: who needs a trophy when you have ice time, team spirit, and a Tivoli at full boil?
