Invited Talk of Dr.-Ing. Christiane Antweiler at TU Braunschweig
Dr. Christiane Antweiler was invited to give a talk with the title "Multi-Channel System Identification – Theory and Applications" on 23rd June 2015. Her talk was within the communication colloquium of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Physics at TU Braunschweig. Moderator of the discussion was Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tim Fingscheidt.
IND Excursion to Erlangen and Munich
During an excursion from June 17th-19th 15 students and staff of the IND visited industrial partners in Erlangen and Munich.
New Head of the Institute: Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Jax
With effect from April 1st, 2015 Prof. Peter Jax heads the Institute of Communication Systems.
Doctoral examination of Dr.-Ing. Matthias Rüngeler
Dr.-Ing. Matthias Rüngeler has successfully completed his doctoral examination with an oral defense.
Students were invited as part of the consultation days at the RWTH Aachen to attend a lecture at the Institute.
Projekt MATLAB meets LEGO Mindstorms
During the annual first semester project "MATLAB meets LEGO Mindstorms" many creative LEGO robots have been designed in the last two weeks at IND.
E-Plus-Preis für Dr.-Ing. Birgit Schotsch
Dieses Jahr erhielt Frau Dr.-Ing. Birgit Schotsch den Preis für ihre Dissertation "Rateless Coding in the Finite Length Regime" im Rahmen des Tages der Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik am 12. Dezember 2014.
