Heute erhielten drei Doktoranden des IND die Borchers-Plakette für ihre mit Auszeichnung abgeschlossenen Promotionen: Dr.-Ing. Bernd Geiser, Dr.-Ing. Marco Jeub und Dr.-Ing. Heiner Löllmann.

Christoph Nelke, Christophe Beaugeant and Peter Vary received the Best Student Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing ICASSP 2013 with the paper „Dual Microphone Noise PSD Estimation for Mobile Phones in Hands-free Position Exploiting the Coherence and Speech Presence Probablity”.

Prof. Vary presented an invited talk at Microsoft Research Redmond, USA, with the title "The Path to Mobile HD-Audio Communication".
Guest Lecture at Imperial College
Prof. Vary presented a guest lecture entitled "Advanced Speech-Audio Processing in Mobile Phones and Hearing Aids" to the Audio Engineering Society UK at Imperial College, London.
