ICASSP 2022 took place in Singapore. After two years of virtual-only ICASSP conferences, this year offered a hybrid mode. The conference was split into two time periods such that the online and the in-person conference took place in different weeks in the beginning of May.
Dr. Marc Adrat, IKS visiting lecturer, the longstanding head of the Software Defined Radio research group at the Fraunhofer FKIE in Wachtberg has been recognized with the Wireless Innovation Forum’s (WInnF) 2021 President’s Award.

The exhibition "Lernen. Forschen. Machen. 150 Jahre RWTH Aachen" at the Centre Charlemagne provided insights into the historical and current development and presented research highlights. What part the IKS and the IENT had in the exhibition can be seen in the attached short video.
After the Institut's Christmas event in 2020 could only take place digitally, this year the employees of the IKS wanted to get together in presence.
Day of Action at the Centre Charlemagne
As part of the "Lernen. Forschen. Machen." exhibition, there was an exciting day of action at the Centre Charlemagne last Sunday.
The Alumni Day planned on the occasion of the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the RWTH will now take place digitally and was officially opened on 15.11.2021.
