Pupils Visits
The 49th IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP) took place this year in Seoul, Korea, from April 14th to 19th, 2024.
Just before the start of the summer term 2024, the sixth year of the ETOS program has already started their studies. The Bachelor's program "Electrical Engineering with Orientation Semester (ETOS)" is a joint program of RWTH Aachen University and FH Aachen University.
The 50th Annual Conference on Acoustics - DAGA 2024 -took place this year from March 18th to 21st in Hannover. It is organized and chaired by the institutes and facilities of Leibniz University Hannover. The IKS was represented by Prof. Peter Jax and Erik Fleischhauer.
The Study Information Day of RWTH took place on February 5, 2024, in the lecture center C.A.R.L. The target audience comprised students from Q1 and Q2, as well as grades 12 and 13, along with prospective students interested in studying at RWTH.
We were very pleased to be able to provide pupils with an insight into our work at the institute.
IKS at RWTH Career Day (Berufetag)
The RWTH Career Day (Berufetag) supports pupils in exploring occupational fields at the university.
Contributions to the Student Information Day
RWTH hosted the Student Information Day for students of Q1 and Q2 or grades 12 and 13 as well as prospective students. The format was supported by members of the institute.
The pupils of the advanced mathematics course of the Liebfrauenschule in Eschweiler were guests at the IKS as part of a student laboratory.
Electrical Engineering and Information Technology is a very broad discipline, which at RWTH is divided into the five fields of competence "Energy and Environment", "Information, Communication and Electronics", "Information Technology Systems", "Medical Technology" and "Mirco- and Nanoelectronics".
